The production and narration was so poor, that the only thing that recommends the book was the continuity of the story.

Yes, I would recommend the book, and the series.
What didn’t you like about Kitty Hendrix’s performance?
Narration pace was too fast. I kept checking that I had not accidentally selected 1.5 speed on the Audible app. The production did not allow enough pauses at the end of sentences and at the end of each chapter. Uncomfortable listening experience – like speeding things up to meet a pre-defined total running time (TRT). Awful.

Series audio books should always have the same narrator. This series had a different narrator for each of the three books, which made it hard to concentrate on the story and follow which character was speaking, because of each narrator’s different style.
