although the book was short, it was worth every penny I spent for it. through all the pain, anguish, and horror she went though personally as she was left to care for her younger brothers and sisters and her aging grandmother, she perservered. a new school teacher came to town who was a true blessing to the entire family. he fell in love with her….wonderful love story along with forgiveness…well she was working on that as the man who had horribly violated her was hauled away to prison for attempted murder along with many other charges…her father shows up……well..all is well that ends well. the story ends in wedding…and no illicit sex!!!!! I highly recommend this book. narrator was fine.
