I thoroughly enjoyed this book. So often in PA books the hero is perfect at everything. That gets a little old after awhile. The “hero” in this book wasn’t perfect, he was a flawed man doing the best he could under the circumstances. His flaw made him more real to me and you will find Devil Dog to be a guy that you are cheering for.
My complaint is one I often make with books under 10 hours – it was too short! As a avid reader/listener I can fly through books like this – especially ones that I lose myself in. I was provided this book in exchange for a review. Mr. Craven if you see this, thanks for the listen, great book BUT please write longer ones so I can get a few more hours of enjoyment please!!
