Not a bad YA story. It wasn’t mind blowing great but I would probably listen to the next book. Some things were pretty predictable others surprising. Honestly, I listened to this book because of the dog. I have Great Danes so any story with a Dane in it, I will listen to.
The narration was good. I liked her voice for most of the characters.. She did come across as gratingly childish at times when I think it wasn’t the authors intention. All in all, it entertained and isn’t that why we listen to fictional stories? 😊
