THEY WOULD NOT KILL THOUSANDS IN THE ATTACKS, THEY WOULD KILL MILLIONS AS A RESULT OF THE ATTACKS
All of Horton’s books are entertaining. This book like all his books, starts right off with the action. I have been known to say in my reviews that I am not a chase scene, blowing things up type of lover, but Horton writes in a way that gets your adrenaline flowing. I specifically remember one scene in particular in which I found myself yelling at the radio, MOVE, STEP ON THE GAS, HURRY, GET OUT OF THERE. When it comes to action scenes, I have never come upon a writer who can put the reader in the scene as well as Horton does. Although you might not want to be in the scene, because of how terrifying it is. Horton’s books are scarier than Zombie books (of which I am a big fan) cause they are so probable. IF TIMES ARE HARD YOU GOT TO BE HARDER.

I DON’T WANT YOU TO THINK I AM A CONSPIRACY NUT, BUT
I have to be honest, my politics are not the same as Horton’s. That does not mean I can’t respect and enjoy his writings. I also believe that his writings should be taken serious for the possibilities, that could very well happen, which he greatly illustrates. If I was president, he would be on my staff. As a Christian, I have trouble turning my back on a whole group of people like the Syrian Refugees, but also see the danger they could bring to our country. As far as preppers go this book is a little extreme. A college girl who has been carrying around a military tourniquet since grade school?

DON’T LET YOUR MOUTH WRITE CHECKS, YOUR ASS CAN’T CASH
In a lot of my reviews, I like to mention that I would like to see the story through the eyes of the bad guys as well as the good guys. Horton does that. The story starts out with us seeing through the eyes and minds of some of those involved in the terrorist acts. Later, one of the main characters is a guy named, Gamma Ray. He is a selfish gamer, who thinks the world is a game similar to Grand Theft Auto and he is the king.

KEVIN PIERCE
Horton’s books would sell well without Pierce, but Pierce’s narration has got to double or triple his audio sales. If I am trying to decide between two post apocalyptic books to spend my credit on and one his narrated by Pierce and the other is not, than it is not even a choice, it will be Pierce every time.
