Allow me to start off by saying i was worried they might try to use dramatized effects (making a dry humor cheesy). fortunately, they did not.

Jeff Hayes does an excellent service to this story. i found several other narrators of mark Twain books to be over dramatic (running Twain’s humor) or overly dry (making the story hard to pay attention to. Hayes strikes an excellent balance. each phrase is easy to pay attention to and Twain’s sarcasm is left with the proper matter of fact tone it is due.
