- What made the experience of listening to A Witch’s Path the most enjoyable?
- I enjoy the main character and it’s fun to carry on with the paranormal creatures.
- What did you like best about this story?
- Ilike Michelles sassiness.
- Have you listened to any of Jeff Hays’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
- I purchased the first book in this series so I would be up to speed when I started this one. That was my first experience listening to Jeff’s narration. I listened to the audio sample and liked the narration and went from there. When I saw a males name as the narrator I thought maybe there was more than one option and I picked a different version to sample. I mean, the sample I listened to was clearly a chics voice… I started the book and was pleasantly pleased to find out it really was a male narrator and he performed Michelles voice really really good! The masculine characters were also clearly masculine. I am rather particular about listening to stories that have female characters performed by females. I don’t like to hear a story with a female lead character ruined with a deep male voice that goes all high pitched as if women really sound like that and overuse inflection when we talk. This is probably the first time (and I have over 500 audiobooks) that I have enjoyed a female character narrated by a man. He’s awesome.
