Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
First of all, I Iiked the story and narration. Only issue, at 1 hour and 57 minutes, it seems too short. This may be part one of a series, if so, it is a good start. So if this is part of a series, or just a short story, I can recommend it.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The World Burns: A Post-Apocalyptic Story?
I liked how the old preacher had some survival tricks up his sleeve.
Have you listened to any of Kevin Pierce’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have listened to Kevin Pierce before in a story about grizzly bears. Kevin has a good, steady, even handed delivery. Easy to listen to, good characterization.
Do you think The World Burns: A Post-Apocalyptic Story needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
Way too short. In a typical novel you have protagonist going through a series of difficulties, which get increasingly higher as the novel progresses. Then you have the climatic scene where these increasing difficulties get resolved. In this book, the protagonist goes through two shoot outs after about three weeks of the post apocalypse. OK, what’s next?

Disclaimer: “This audiobook was provided by the author/narrator/publisher free of charge in exchange for an unbiased review via AudiobookBlast dot com.” As mentioned above, I like the story and narration. I gave it an overall three stars for being too short. I did not get a sense that this story was leading anywhere. The author and narrator deserve credit for all the work they have put into this. Please continue with the story line with some resolution or “truth” being discovered as result of the story.
