First off, the narration for this book is fabulous! Joel Froomkin did a remarkable job narrating all the different characters, but his “upper crust” accent is just so spectacular. If you’re a fan of period pieces and murder mysteries, then you will probably really like John Pickett. He is very charismatic without being arrogant, and he is somewhat relatable given the circumstances. In Milady’s Chamber is well written and highly enjoyable, and a great start to a new series.
