I’m currently listening to Canyon the second novel in The Traveler series. Home is set in 2037 five years after pneumonic plague killed 2/3 of the world population. The US government has pulled out of a vast area of the southwest as ungovernable and the Cartel, a huge criminal gang set up as a military organization has taken over. One man named Battle fights them. He plays by his rules and he kills Cartel members without pity; he believes in an eye for an eye but prefers to take his opponent’s eye before his opponent can commit his evil deed. Those who are fans of post apocalyptic novels will like this series. Narration is superb.
