This is my first review after some 120 audible.com book purchases, most of which are in the true crime genre. This particular story stands out because of its heartbreaking conclusion and the skillful narrative that moves toward it. This is one of several titles I have listened to more than once, and I find the story all the more engaging and compelling when knowing in advance how it will turn out. Both narrators are masterful. Kevin Pierce, the main narrator, is, as always, superb–especially in this work that requires pathos and empathy.
