That phrase is rung in my head the second and third time through this book. How the truth is found when there’s not an eyewitness or confession to be had is fascinating. How NecroSearch or the “Pig People” came to be is a story to be beheld itself. Steve Jackson retells that story, and stories of some of the initial members and cases in rich detail. Recorded conversations and court transcripts are also included. Kevin Pierce recounts those conversations and the official procedural issues in a masterful way, as always. If you, Listener, are into True Crime, Forensics, Investigative Procedure, and theory, this book will be hard to turn off. Truly one of those books you will listen to on your driveway in your car, because you can’t turn it off and want to know what’s next.
