The story is very reminiscent of The Lost Starship. I won’t give away the plot but the author did a good job with character development and basic storyline. The explanation of the story line gets quite confusing seemingly intentionally when it didn’t need to be. The end of the book also seemed quite rushed reminding of a movie that’s run low on the budget reserves. It didn’t take the time to fully develop the wonder of it. I was certain through 3/4 I would immediate purchase the series but I’m no longer sure. Overall still a good story but nowhere near the Lost Starship series to me.
