The performance of this book was outstanding. The narrator brought a number of characters and accents to life quite believably. His telling of the story made characters who were quite unlikable likable. If it wasn’t for his storytelling I would have stopped listening earlier. There was however far too much graphic sex for my taste. I found myself having to fast-forward way too often. It was just too much. The bad deeds of the characters were also a little bit too much for me. It does and I’m a bit of a cliffhanger so I wonder if there will be another book. I don’t like that it wasn’t wrapped up a little bit better because I don’t think I could listen to a sequel well with such characters that had no redeeming qualities
