The story was intriguing and I remained engaged through the end. However, Jeff Hays was tough to listen to. He seemed to use three different voices for most of the characters and many of the characters sounded pretty much the same. They were either adenoidal and grating, or monotonous, almost dumb sounding. Or the surfer “Brah” sounding voice. Then there was the use of canned laughter and cheering that while I appreciate the attempt at making the story come to life, made it all that much more difficult to endure.
