What did you love best about Behold, Darkness and Sorrow?
I enjoyed the main characters. The fact that college students rather than a 35+ year old man were the major players was refreshing for this type of story.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Not quite. Parts were really interesting but then I felt like someone was reading the Bible to me and telling me what to believe it means. That’s a huge pet peeve of mine. I firmly believe that people make the Bible mean whatever they want it to mean whether it’s in anyone’s best interests other than their own or not.
Any additional comments?
Good story but hard to listen to if you’re like me. I hate when people try to manipulate my religious beliefs. To me, those are private and completely up to me. This story could have easily been written without all the preaching. It seemed forced.
