I really enjoyed this book

I really enjoyed this book. At first, it felt a bit clunky because you are starting midway through the story of the hotel, but it quickly becomes an interesting thriller. All the secondary and minor characters (that is, anyone not Coco or White) are extreme versions of cardboard cutouts. There is a very minor romantic plot that seems to have started as a bigger plot line, but was left dangling. You get names occasionally, but more often you get titles/positions or broad descriptions. Doesn’t really matter because most of these people will die in horrific ways.

Andrew Tell did a really good job narrating. He has a good voice and pace for thrillers. Even his female voices are pretty good.

One thing I would like to see is a short story about the fallout from this event. Because it was hard to connect to the characters, I really connected to the idea of what was going to happen after the event. It could be told with newspaper articles, news stories, and trial transcripts. Have Tell narrate and I would totally buy it.
