WARNING! this book is the first of a survivor series. The second has not come out yet, try not to get hooked on it!
If you’re like me, you’ve listened to, most post-apocalyptic, prepper, or zombie books on audible.com. You have the premiss figured out and they are all pretty similar.
However! Despite having NO expectations, Winters edge really impressed me! It’s hard, gritty and realistic environment combines well with the fictional survivalist who is the main character. I didn’t expect to be pulled into this one, but after the second chapter I couldn’t help but keep listening!
The story line leaves you wanting more and having it narrated by Kevin Pearce is the icing on top. Excellent entertainment from this book.
