This is a sci-fi romance, heavy on family, fun, and cute younglings. SE Smith shows the true meaning of Christmas in the most wonderful way in this story. It brings together characters from many of her stories. You do not have to have read them to enjoy this, but I suggest you do since they are so fun and well thought out.
