This is a really good starting place for anyone interested in the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) diet plan. It’s a really quick read, and the book does a really good job of outlining the basics and offering recipe options. The first half of the book deals with oulining the plan and the second half is recipes.

I know…I know…what could be more boring than hearing recipes read out loud? I have to say though, hearing the recipes read gave me some new ideas for menus and a good idea of how they use substitutes in the plan.

I would recommend this book for anyone wanting some good ideas about how to eat healthier. It’s a quick read at a great price.
