- What did you love best about The World Beneath?
- Tunnels can be both creepy and deliciously fascinating and the fact that 95% of this book takes place walking, exploring, and fleeing in these tunnels makes for a very exciting plot. It’s real easy to become attached to Joe Tesla, yes of that family, and his service dog Edison and follow them into these tunnels where mystery and danger lurk.
- Which scene was your favorite?
- The shock of what happens when Joe tries to send his dog Edison off to safety with the young gym employee. Totally took me by surprise!
- Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
- Yes. It drove me crazy I had to break it up by listening in parts.
- Any additional comments?
- A brilliant multimillionaire computer geek with agoraphobia An underground Victorian mansion. Franklin Roosevelt’s personal presidential train car discovered behind a brick wall in a forgotten railroad tunnel. Hundreds of miles of used, and unused, tunnels deep beneath the feet of New York City. All this and much more make for an enjoyable book with a wonderful new plot device.
