As a consumer of mystery, suspense and Noir novels, it is nice to occasionally veer off of the path to see what is going in romance country. Elise Sax spun the tale at the perfect length with just enough romantic tension to make it interesting. Angie Hickman’s narration was music with a nice variation between characters. This was a very pleasant audio book that the author, publisher or narrator provided to me in exchange for my review.
