This book has been on my wishlist for quite a while and I finally broke down and bought it. I should have done that earlier.

The world in this LitRPG book is a generic European fantasy world with barely any detail but the book has a well-realized and interesting game design that substitutes very well. The protagonist and one of the supporting characters are done believably (given the premise) and develop in plausible ways to the benefit of the story. And the plot is compelling and fast-moving.

I couldn’t put this book down and will be continuing with the series soon. Highly recommended.
