ROBINSON explains in wonderful detail the science and technology of global warming as well as the necessary economic dimensions of transitioning to a sustainable future against the malign forces of capitalism. Unfortunately, the last third of the book is painfully tedious in its storytelling and its focus on one of the characters who falls down the drain of sentimentality in thisfiction
