I don’t want to blame the performer directly, because i’m sure he was directed to use accents for certain characters. But they came out stereotypical and racist. Was it necessary to give Ash’s Japanese mom, Dr. Singh, and the random nurse (I don’t even know what she was suppose to be) stereotypical accents? It was distracting and rubbed me the wrong way every time I heard them. The british accent for Brand was okay for the most part, but I was scared to keep going and find out what other random side character is going to be given a random accent. — Accents aside I had trouble caring about the lead characters and their rushed romance.
