The concept for this story is interesting, but for me the writing left much to be desired. The dialogue is cliche and corny, and the characters are one-dimensional. There is very little world-building, more just basic scene setting. I couldn’t get into it. If you’re new to science fiction or looking for something very simple, this might suit your tastes. It’s a fun story as far as it goes, but I didn’t find it to be especially engaging.
