I was on the fence about whether I liked this book or not until I got two hours in to where the female voice actor started talking, after listening to 5 minutes of her strained squeaky voice I was going crazy, and her mic was noticeably of a lower quality causing a crackling and scratchy noise, and her lines were so cringy, I’m honestly amazed the performance is rated so highly or that they even used her audio instead of switching mics early into recording.
