Really like this novel. The characters are well developed. In fact, the novel is more of a character study than anything else. Scenery decriptions are also well done.Nothing about the characters or the scenery descriptions is forced. All of this is well punctuated with thoroughly and smoothly detailed fight sequences.
The narration was unadorned. Actually, it was more like dispassionate reading, a bit robotic. The performance wasn’t bad at all; I just expected more.
