This book was unexpectedly sappy and hard to believe. I usually like Bobby Akart’s writing, but this one was a sad disappointment. The supposedly badly injured woman ran all over with a wrenched knee. At least once she sent her husband away so that she could perform unlikely feats of strength. They both took wild chances with the flood waters and mudflows and yet survived.

The reader did well with what he had to work with, but I would skip this one.
