I don’t know where to start. Obviously you’re not starting here (one would hope). If you’re like me, after the wrecking ball of emotions lain bare by the end of the Bedlam Bride, you might be a little apprehensive at the prospect of continuing into “Faction Wars”. Personally I’m not usually a fan of large scale siege/wargames stories… but Matt manages to expand the view of the floor while keeping focus on the many (many) characters we’ve come to love (or abhor). All in good fun. Right? Right Matt? Just… good… fun…. I’m not crying, …you’re crying!
Also, a separate note, I cannot abashedly express enough, how fantastic Jeff’s performance is as narrator. I’m sure I’d enjoy just reading this series… but it is brought to life by Jeff and Soundbooth Theater in such a stunningly entertaining fashion that the narration alone is worth it. As previously confirmed by official Syndicate sources, I do hope Jeff continues to be “swimming in pussy”, as is rightly deserved.
