If you like techno-apocalyptic-thrillers, the premise of this book (first in a series) is an interesting one. That’s why I spent a hard earned credit on it. It was a wasted credit. The entire novel is a mish-mash of character introductions and various romantic subplots. I kept waiting for an actual story to emerge in what is teased to be a multiple characters (mostly unlikeable ones) eventually meeting up for… what? The only thing that kept me listening to the finish is the excellent voice acting, the fact that I listen to it during a long daily exercise walk, and the hope an actual storyline would appear – it never did.
