I love this series and I enjoyed this book. By this point, however, the rpg-mechanic aspect is getting pretty (although the author has done a pretty good job of streamlining it and keeping things high level), there are tons of minor characters (and it feels like they are all trying to get spotlight time), there story itself is a multi-front battle (which are always hard to follow and can be tedious), and the storyline is almost 50% beyond the dungeon.

All that together makes the book teeter on being too complicated to follow. I hope the next one is a big narrowing down of focus and some simplifying of story lines.
