The voice acting is amazing, so amazing in fact I can’t listen to any other audiobooks without complaining loudly that they’re boring AF. As for the plot , it’s Dungeons and Dragons meets Sci-fi in the greatest way possible. It’s got drama, humor, tension, and cliffhangers to keep you waiting for the next book to drop. Seriously just pick it up. I know it sounds stupid. I protested when my best friend recommended it, it didn’t sound like a book I would read. Like seriously a guy running around in his boxers with a cat? In an alien game show that kills them if they don’t make it to the next level. Wasn’t my cup of tea I thought. Well I was wrong. This is my cup of tea, and I would like twelve more.
