I stumbled across the series roughly a year ago and have been absolutely booked since. As someone who frequently tries to predict endings because I get bored following the story, I’m happy to say the writer and subsequent story teller keeps me locked into each chapter. Of course there are some parts that seem obvious but because of the writing style I can’t believe it when things unfold the way I think.
The union of cookbook authors was absolutely chilling knowing that some, if not most of all of them were not going to make it. Also, dipping into more lore with each of them added some excellent context for really helping to understand the decisions and actions of characters.
God damn it Dinniman, what a fantastic series you have here.
