It started off a little bit slow to me, but I really started to get into the character development and the emotional roller coaster that followed. I definitely cried a little bit. It wasn’t Kristin Hannah level crying, but I still had to grab some Kleenex. I gave it four stars because it was a unique book that definitely made me feel. This was also my first book by this author, so I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the narration was pretty good. I listen to so many audiobooks. I wasn’t familiar with these two narrators. I thought they did a good job. Happy listening.
