Nothing about this book worked for me. Admittedly, I’m not a fan of the author’s wordy writing style, which really slowed down the pace. I also found the storyline unbelievable (and occasionally downright silly). In addition, the caricatures in the story were not real people that I cared about. I’m really not sure whether this was supposed to be a thriller or an attempt at black comedy. I had to crank the speed way up to finish.
