Ugh! I have to say I like the blurb and was intrigued but this story was so long an tedious with internal thoughts and repetitive back and forth between Ilarion and Taylor. Don’t get me started on Taylor, she was just whinny and annoying. I wanted to like her but I just couldn’t. Going into a Mafia story, I know there is going to be violence, on the edge of your seat tension but with this it was more listening to Taylor complain. This story was just not for me, especially with a cliff-hanger after all these pages I had to endure. I’m sorry!
