I enjoyed the world the author created and the story itself well enough that I will continue to listen despite not liking Dan Calley’s narration at all. Wooden, monotoned and I couldn’t wait to get his chapters done with just to get on with the story. Of course, Joel Leslie is awesome as usual. The story worth it for now. Just the right mixture of intrigue, humor, drama and sexy times. Could have done with a little less of the abusive history but it was extremely important to the story and there were only two or three lines of real detail; the rest just how it impacted Oscar.
