Thought this series was discontinued, boy am I glad I went back to the depths of my library to check for sequels! At first I was annoyed with the constant change of perspective but once the story picked up, it never released the pedal! That is probably the best production I’ve heard for a book.
Most of the time added sound effects and music feel cringe or just shoved in there, but this…. I was there. I was in the locations it described with the ambience and the music helped elevate some emotional moments. Essentially I was watching a movie in my head!
It was such a fantastic ride and I don’t want to spoil anything! If you listened (accidentally typed “watched” first cuz the production was so good) to the previous books, you will absolutely like this one. Now I gotta wait for the next one… “such a damn shame…”
