I’m grateful the author did a “recently in history” to start this book. I forgot some details from previous books, so it’s greatly appreciated. This book felt like this started slow, but it’s necessary to build the second half. important details. so glad that the author didn’t make invincible characters. it’s always world building and character building when people die in these stories. it’s more realistic and impactful.
