This is Lily Morton’s best work in my opinion. Such a beautiful story of Jude and Asa, and Asa’s son Billy. They made such a wonderful little family. This book always makes me cry both from sadness and happiness, and I could read it endlessly and never tire of it. Joel Leslie’s narration in this is also a thing of beauty, one of his best works for sure.
