Worm holes, solar flares, fake scientists, and a bunch of silly moments. June unexpectedly found herself projected 5 years ahead in time, with Mike being the only person her phone can connect to, a colleague and former classmate from elementary school who carries a clandestine admiration for June. But June has a jealous dislike for Mike because Mike is so likeable, and she doesn’t feel appreciated at work for all her efforts. In this fun, time sensitive tale, June learns Mike is more than just the charmer that effortlessly can make everyone fall in love with him. Mike’s true self comes out as he spends more time with both Junes (present and future) — she realizes that he’s a total sweetheart, willing to risk it all to save her from a lifetime in the future. Will he save her in time? Such a fun read.
