but damn was this a well rounded ending. It payed off a lot of stuff that was set up in the first 3 books, and feels like a gentle ending for our warriors. I was surprised by a couple things but everything makes sense. solid character growth. also 10/10 performance. some people have said that the MC is whiny or hung up on being manly in the first few books but Joel does an amazing job of making him sound real and relatable. I’ve fallen in love with the world building and am going to miss it!
