Took me just a few minutes to start to get into the plot and found I was drawn to what was going to happen. Israel is a lovely character and I liked Sam and all of the extended friends, family.

I felt really sad for Israel’s Mum and Dad, they were both so isolated from each other and from Israel, so to see them awakening as a family is a beautiful thing.

Donna, Nick and their family were so great and so empathic to Israel and his parents, this was lovely.

I found the narrator a bit hard on my ears at first, I hadn’t listened to him before but I became used to him very quickly which made the listen very good.

I recommend this audiobook to all who like a bit of emotional shaking, but with the HEA ending, which makes all of it worthwhile.
