I understood the series was following Pykh that was raised by the invaders but the first 3 books also had a significant amount of information about the invaders.
I was excited about book four because I wanted to hear how the natives was going to win the war and save their home. The beginning of book 4 still held my attention but after one battle with the invaders the storyline solely focused on Pykh, Seal, Carter and the conflict between the head Omega and his son and Carter having babies. Through all the chapters I was left wondering how they were combating the invaders since the invaders were a large part of the first 3 books.
Well they give a brief overview of what happened in the last chapter. The last chapter was 17 minutes and the war was mentioned in the last 6 minutes of that chapter. I will leave it to your imagination about what took up most chapters in this book.
The readers did a great job through in all four books.
