Suppose you could say we disliked the ten year jump in the story and no mention of Kanti Cycle aside from Sarsook, even if it is a different author.
We really enjoyed the short story at the end, finding out that Sarsook is basically a middle aged mid-crisis man despite being thousands of years old, probably. It was weird thinking about these giant lizards living humanistic lives outside of torturing and murdering slaves.
We enjoyed the romance, screwing around, the experience Gurt has with species he’s never encountered before, we’re very excited to read the next couple stories, hopefully we let them ride out longer instead of binging it!
