Jeff Hayes is wonderful as always- The story leaves a lot to be wanted.

I really want to like this series, I mean I’ve bought the first 3 books on audible and have listened to the first 2.

Something just bugs me how things are always convenient for the characters. Things always magically work out. There’s very few set ups for why things happen, they just do.

It breaks the sense of immersion for me a lot and I just cannot continue.

I like the idea and the story is there. it’s just in the details for me that hurt the story.
