I enjoy all sorts of litrpg. This one definitely veers more towards the low brow and absurd end of the pool. I usually enjoy those every bit as much, but this one took me a long time to get into for whatever reason. Several chapters in, it finally grew on me and from there I found it engaging if not crudely absurd. I’ll probably listen to the sequel to see how olot goes from here, but I definitely seem to enjoy the other mimic litrpg story a bit more than this one.
