I have listened too the first 5 books or so and the over arching story is really good and is the only reason I continue to listen, The reasons I keep wanting to stop listening is because the author talks to you like your an idiot and explains every even after it just happens, the MC seems to have time to randomly stand there and hash through every scenario of half his decisions and then other decisions he just does off the cuff because he is just that good. And he gets worse as the books progress. I know skip past chapters once he starts on one of his meandering rants.
