Kevin Pierce did a wonderful job, as always, bringing this horrifying story of ignorance, self delusion and abuse to life.
Throughout this entire book I found myself shaking my head in disbelief.
While I feel sympathetic towards the victims, I am outraged at the mentality that their ridiculous religion fostered in them that allowed this sick predator to victimize these people and there children and there children’s children.
Then, when they finally start talking about making him pay for his crimes, the first thing they do is pray! don’t they realize that the pretend god they are praying to now is the same one that put them in that position in the first place?
If a god existed, wouldn’t it have helped them?
While I would never blame the victim in a crime like this, they should take a good look at what help keep this evil man out of prison and allowed him to keep hurting people.
